Kay

Kay Musical Instrument Company, previously Stromberg-Voisinet, was one of the preeminent Chicago based instrument manufacturers beginning in the early 20th century.  Kay also made many “house branded” guitars for various other Chicago manufacturers and department stores such as Sears and Montgomery Ward.  In addition to its own name, Kay built guitars branded Oahu, S.S. Stewart, Old Kraftsman, Silvertone, and Rex, amongst others.
